Garden

The garden is growing well.  We are getting lots of cucumbers, basil, dill, onions and the tomatoes are  plenty.   Little things in life get in the way of the big things.  Need to refocus!  Want to be free of these walls!

I think this would be a great thing to do!

Plan for the day

I have posted pics of my  garage (sigh)  I have been working on cleaning it out.  I have not been doing a good job.  It is hard with a 2 year old  as anyone can tell you.  Trying to do anything with a toddler is like trying to sweep the floor with a six pack of energy filled kittens intent on killing that thing that keeps swooshing across the floor.  Not to mention they must attack the pile of dirt because it has obviously offended them also. 

 

OK, I got off topic... My plan for the day is to see how many e-Bay auctions I an post.  Sometimes

e-Bay has a special and you can list many auctions for free.  Today's special is 1000 auctions.  Last night when I was intent to list many auctions I got 7 up (sigh).  

 

I must say I feel like I will accomplish my goal today because of the man I love so much.  I ask him OK what is the goal for the number of auctions we will list?  His answer  "What ever we can do"  with goals like that how can you fail.  I think I will set my goals in this way from now on.  If I list 2 or 200 the goal has been achieved!  That feels nice.

Tell your family and friends

When your goal is to clean out your home of all unneeded things, make sure you tell your family and friends.  My family are very giving people.  We (none of us) have a lot of money but we would give each other anything.  Some of the lady's in my family like to go to yard sales and after they will often show up with an arm full of goodies for you.  How rude if you do not take them, and they will be hurt.  So make sure you let them know what you are doing so they can help by not bringing you lots of finds :)

Minimalism unexpected rewards

In my journey to have more by having less a great thing happened yesterday.  I am cleaning house and listed one of my oil paintings on eBay.   In my opinion my paintings are like a child's art.  However I feel so honored that my painting did not only sell.  The first bid on it was from an ART COLLECTOR!  I feel very validated :)

It is ok to plant a garden

Althogh I want to move on from this place in my life, I am quite sure it will not be this year.  So I will sprout where I am planted.  As I tend my garden I can watch the yard sale that I hope will clean out some of the mess I posted pics of.

Here is a photo of my two car garage.  I use NONE of these things.  I have been moving these things around my house for a few years now.  I one way or another I must rid myself of all these things.  They are blocking me in so many ways.  The room I have to work in my garage is one corner.  Wish me luck!

Simplifying my life

In order to move forward in my life I think I need to get rid of a ton of things that is holding me back.  I cannot wait to start to purge my mind and space of unneeded things.  I hope to come up with ways to save money and save myself by cleaning out my life.

Was thinking about filling a pool for the boy today.  However it is raining outside....  What to do???   Will keep plans and set up in basement ... lol

My little man LOVES blueberries, I guess I will have to be sure to move somewhere where we can get them.  He can go through a whole box a day!

I also enjoy painting.  None of my projects are planned when started.  They all deside what they want to be on their own.  When I painted this one, I was very sad about the loss of a kitten.

What I like to do in my free time is Mosaic Tile.  I have never really tried to sell any of my works, I think I get to attached to each one.. lol Here is one of my latest works.

I am a mother of two kids.  One is in collage and the other is almost two years old.  When I bought my house there was many more business in the area.  We are now down to a post office, a small store, two banks, a second had store and a bar.  The schools are nice enough and the crime rate is not that bad.  However my second child is a boy and he is full of energy, I have NO yard and there is not many places he can play.  So I start on the journey of relocating my family to greener pastures!

Other Options

What options do I have?   This is a question I have been asking myself a lot lately.  I almost own my small house (and it is OK)  but I feel there is so much more out there!  I am quite sure there is places out there that I could live better on the same income.  But would I be able to earn enough money where I go to live the same way I do now.  I know I have a long road ahead of me, however I am sure there are Other Options out there.
